This 12-hour online, self-paced course covers the basics of web development. HTML is the backbone of web development. CSS is a powerful tool that ensures websites have consistent styles and formats. Bootstrap is an open-source CSS framework used for mobile-first, responsive design. JavaScript is a core technology of the web. In this course, the student will learn how to use HTML to create webpages. The student will learn how to use CSS to make the website look great and how to create responsive designs that work seamlessly on a variety of devices.
Upon successfully completing this program, you will be able to:
- Create a web form that collects user inputs and runs validations using HTML
- Create responsive webpage elements using CSS
- Apply logical, arithmetic, and comparison operators on variables
- Discuss the use of JavaScript in web development
- Demonstrate and apply the use of media queries
