Security Guard Training in Saskatchewan
This 40-hour course will increase your knowledge base as a security officer, providing practical skills that will assist you with your duties within the guidelines of the law. The course is designed to provide you with everything you need to know to pass the provincial exam and earn a security guard certificate.
Parkland College is an approved provider of this mandatory training for security guards in Saskatchewan. After successfully completing the course, including the exam, you will be eligible to apply for a security guard license.
NOTE: Parkland College is an Approved Security Guard Course Provider through Saskatchewan Justice. Student successfully completing the Approved Security Guard Training are eligible to apply for a permanent security guard licence within Saskatchewan and in most provinces across Canada. In order to obtain a licence, you must be 18 years of age or older, be eligible to work in Canada, and have a satisfactory criminal record check.
