Put a spark in your career
Learn on state-of-the-art equipment and one-of-a-kind projects in our Trades and Technology Centre’s new welding shop. You will receive training in multiple welding processes, operating fabrication equipment, using blueprints, general shop practice, and shop safety.
You’ll spend 75% of your time in our welding shop learning from highly qualified instructors. You’ll learn to work on your own and as part of a team. You’ll also develop the quality assurance and shop safety practices employers look for when recruiting apprentices.
Students may apply for Level 1 and 2 Technical Training credit and trade time upon indenturing as an apprentice with the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission (SATCC). Visit saskapprenticeship.ca for more details.
