This graduate program provides an internationally-focused body of knowledge and skills for individuals interested in extending their business understanding beyond the domestic environment. The curriculum emphasizes the skills and knowledge necessary to operate in different roles within international cultural, legal and political contexts. This broad-based program will explore the field of management both in theory and through practical applications considering different organizational lenses.

When can I apply?
You can apply anytime for this post-graduate certificate program at Parkland College. However, please note that applicants are accepted on a first come/first qualified basis. Original transcripts are required for acceptance into a program. Applications can be sent without the original but will not be officially considered until all entrance requirements are met (original transcript included).
How do I apply for a program as an International Student?
Students can complete the online application form and pay the $140.00 processing fee. Applications must include secondary and post-secondary transcripts and documents. English proficiency results must also be attached.
Are there English language requirements for International Students?
All programs require an IELTS minimum 6.5 with no bands less than 5.5.
Will there be assignments and homework as part of the program?
Students will cover several courses in each semester and are responsible for assignments and studying. This will definitely require homework outside of class time. There is also mandatory group work.

Admission Requirements
- 2- or 3-year college diploma or university degree from an accredited institution.
- Applicants possessing degrees/diplomas from institutions where the language of instruction was not English will be required to provide test scores as evidence of the English language proficiency. Test scores, if required, would be a minimum of TOEFL iBT 88; IELTS 6.5 with no bands less than 5.5; CAEL 70 with no sub-test band scores less than 60; PTE Academic 58; Conestoga English Language Test (CELT) Band 6; or equivalent scores in other recognized standard tests of English.
Program Requirements
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and internet browser software in a Windows environment is recommended.
- Students will require access to a computer equipped with internet access and a Windows environment, including word processing, spreadsheet, and internet browser software.
- Note: Students must be self-directed learners. Mandatory group work is required.
